★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being in this restaurant is like being in a home. Its interior design is in line with its name 'Rumah Jawa'. The furniture chosen is all traditionally Javanese, like the teak chairs and tables. they are positioned near the big windows overlooking lush garden at the back, or the parking space that is surrounded by exotic tropical plants. Another interesting thing to mention is that this restaurant display traditionally antique items like charcoal iron, small scale, and 'Congklak', a traditional Indonesian game made of long wood with several holes in it that you fill with beads or sea shells.
for the food, they have all kinds of Javanese food, which tasted good when I tried them several days ago. But there is something off, though. They also provide 'Spaghetti'. But I guess they want to accommodate certain people who are more familiar with western taste than local one.
