★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This guy is a totally dishonest and bad guy. He told me that i couldn't find a cheap homestay and his homestay is the cheapest one. It turned out that he lied to me. I could easily find other homestays that are cheaper than his. Not only that, he also convinced me to rent camping equipments which again are 4 times more expensive than elsewhere. Dear Mr., please give us some respect. Not all the people are tourists. You have to know the difference between a tourist and a traveler is that traveler respects the traditions, local customs, religions, and the tourists do not do that quite often. We, as travelers, travel to discover the country and their inhabitants, and no just to see the stones, beaches, and volcanos. The bigger majority have a lot of respect and highter preservation sense of environment! Even if we are in Asia or anywhere, it is the same.

If only we could stay for more than a night!
The only problem was, we needed the water to be hotter. The cold was killing, especially after a long track to the peak of Mt. MERAPI.

The owner is very friendly and speaks English.
He can easily help you with a tour to Mount Merapi. Also on short notice.
However, don't climb the mountain in January. I did that and we couldn't see anything but clouds.
