★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To my surprised it's quite clean actually, maybe its the pandemic so not too many people allowed to enter. Some sites are not properly maintained like the orang utan site. It's a shame since its one of the main attraction. The pelican site is nice and it will be the first you will see if you enter from the north gate entrance. The pelicans are so beautiful. The giraffe, elephant and piramate site are nice to visit. There is a small fairground area and you can rent bicycle for Rp 15k per hour to.check.out the zoo and get some exercise at the same time. Food or restaurants are available but Inwas not attracted to try them. Perhaps it's best to get yiur lunch elsewhere.

Bring your jakcard. They only receive a card issued by Bank DKI.
From my observation, the animals look great and healthy. Next time I should go see Schmutzer to visit distant relatives ?.
We went there approx 7 am in the morning on Saturday, and the crowd was okay, not too much but not to quiet.
I really hope the planned development will be started soon so that Ragunan can be much better than it is today.

If you're planning to make a family holiday with toddler, Of course this place is a must in your list. Kid always love Zoo ??
The place is ease to access, especially for you didn't have much time to go out of the city. You need booking 1 day in advance using TMR forms. The entrance ticket was cheap!! our family only purchase 35k for 3 people, using Jakcard.
The animal was various, you will see duck until crocodile there ?. And amazingly, the place was clean enough inside and surrounded by many trees, so it's really relaxing in the crowds of Jakarta.
Ease to get Toilet, Musholla, food stall and trash bin. But, don't forget to bring umbrella when rainy season and a stroller or scooter if you're bring a toddler.
Really love to come again next soon ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect for a family day. Adjust your clothing as per the weather forecast. Expect a lot of walking in the park to see the animals. I suggest a comfortable shoes and breathable clothes.
