★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pusat Penelitian Arkeologi Nasional (Puslit Arkenas) or The National Research Centre of Archaeology is a government institution under the Agency for Research and Development, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia.
The institution responsible to conduct archaeological research in Indonesia include the collaboration research in national and international scale. Arkenas have 10 branches of archaeology office in various cities of indonesia and every office responsible with the archaeological potential in each working area.
You can visit the office to borrow archaeological books and maybe seeing a few of the research collections. But unfortunately the research collection exhibit not in a good condition and its only show just a little. Many things need to be improved by the institution in showing information for the public in the office. Looking forward for the next improvements of this place.
