Jam operasional sama dengan jam kantor, sehingga pagi hari sudah bisa dikunjungi masyarakat dalam berbagai aktivitas administratif. Lokasi kantor kecamatan ini berada di desa Giripurwo. Lokasi kecamatan ini berada di sebelah Timur pantai Parangtritis ini, harus ditempuh dengan jalan yang cukup terjal menyusuri jalan Panggang - Parangtritis. Pastikan mobil Anda prima jika hendak menuju kecamatan ini melalui Parangtritis. Atau jika ingin perjalanan yang tidak begitu ekstrem dan pemandangan alam nya bagus, sangat disarankan melewati jalur Panggang baru ke Purwosari ini.
