★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utilize a lot of "button" type batteries (used in calculators, watches, etc.) for LED lights. Observed that Energizer brand batteries made in Indonesia seem either GREAT or TERRIBLE. Sometimes they last a long time (more than competitors), whereas others discharge almost immediately. Not clear why. Perhaps some are REAL and others counterfeit from China? (have no info on authenticity). Packaging a bit confusing, not clear which are the premium and which are standard. Also, their dealer/suppliers (in greater Jakarta area, at least) are not very informative nor responsive to requests for orders, and seem often out of stock on even the most popular sizes. Advice: buy ONLY at stores (not online, as more likely fakes). Batteries purchased online for UNDER IDR3000 (per battery) have almost always been fake/bootleg or otherwise not long lasting.
UPDATE: Just purchased set of ENERGIZER button batteries (2032, 2025) at Alfamaret in Jakarta. Was surprised to learn they are MADE IN CHINA, not Indonesia. Hmmm?
