Patung Pahlawan Nasional Pangeran Diponegoro yang menunggang seekor kuda berdiri menjulang tinggi dengan gagahnya seakan hendak terbang. Di dekat patung terdapat informasi mengenai Pangeran Diponegoro, tentang riwayat singkat perjuangan Pangeran Diponegoro dalam mengusir penjajah Belanda, hingga beliau wafat karena diasingkan. Patung ini sungguh terlihat gagah.
The statue of the National Hero Prince Diponegoro who was riding a horse stood towering with his hands as if he were about to fly. Near the statue there is information about Prince Diponegoro, about a brief history of the struggle of Prince Diponegoro in expelling the Dutch invaders, until he died because he was exiled. This statue really looks dashing.

Prince Diponegoro made the Dutch almost bankrupt in Indonesia during the 5-year war. All methods were used to capture and finally succeeded in being captured by guile. Prince Diponegoro was exiled and all his supporters were also exiled separately. Prince Diponegoro was exiled to Makassar until he died there, Sentot Ali Basah was exiled to Bengkulu and Kyai Mojo was taken to Tondano Minahasa near Manado. Many versions of the story about Prince Diponegoro, especially about succession in the Yogyakarta Palace. It was said to fight the Dutch because they wanted to be king ... which one was it? I do not know.....

Prince Diponegoro is one of Indonesian hero. His braveness inspired a lot of people to fight for Indonesian freedom against Dutch colony. The statue represent his spirit. Riding a horse, he was giving command to everyone to fight. Even if your friends betrayed you, you must not give up. You must achieve your goals.
