Jarak dari pos perijinan ke pintu masuk sekitar 30 menit.
Pos 1 ke 2 30 menit
Pos 2 ke mata air 2 jam
Pos mata air ke 3 1.5 jam
Pos 3 ke 4 1.5 jam
Pos 4 ke puncak sekitar 2 jam *jln santai
Biasanya pendaki mendirikan tenda dekat mata air dan di pos 3. Tapi lebih dianjurkan pos mata air karena anginnya ga begitu kencang. Tapi klo cari view pos 3 juaranya klo cuaca cerah. Selama perjalanan pemandangannya hutan hijau wlw saat musim kering.

3rd spring post 1.5 hours
Post 3 to 4 1.5 hours

Usually climbers set up tents near the springs and at post 3. But it is more advisable to post springs because the wind is not so strong. But if you look for post 3 views, the winner is if the weather is sunny. During the trip the scenery is green forest wlw during the dry season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jalur pendakian yang sangat luar biasa, jalan terjal, berlumpur, dan banyak tali pembantu untuk naik dalam track, pas sampai pos 3, subhanallah luar biasa indahnya, Savana seluas mata memandang dengan background gunung Merapi yang sangat cantiknya,. Terbayarkan sudah lelahnya,. ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Puncak Merbabu lewat Suwanting, jalur yg paling menantang krn gak ada bonus sampai puncak. Gas poooolllll dari awal. Apalagi hujan sejak pos 2 sampai pos 3. Bonusnya berupa pemandangan yg super indah di Sabana 1 dan 2 saat summit attack. Merbabu gunung terindah di seluruh Jawa. Saya nginep di basecamp kang Udin ?
Merbabu peak through Suwanting, the most challenging route because there is no bonus to the top. Poooolllll gas from the start. Moreover, it has been raining since post 2 to post 3. The bonus is in the form of a super beautiful view in Sabana 1 and 2 during the summit attack. Merbabu is the most beautiful mountain in all of Java. I'm staying at Udin's basecamp ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rekomemdasi jika musim panas jika hujan bahaya terlalu licin, jalur tercepat sampai sabana dgn 3 puncak terbaik, saran pake porter utk bawa air dan makanan krn treking 1,5 jam sudah sampai pos 3 dan siap buka tenda, porter juga bantu utk buka jalan krn banyak tertutup ilalang di trek ini
Recommendation if it's summer if it rains the danger is too slippery, the fastest route to the savanna with the best 3 peaks, advice to use a porter to bring water and food because the 1.5 hour trek has arrived at post 3 and is ready to open a tent, the porter also helps to open the road because there are many covered in weeds on this track
