Babi Panggang Sambal for 45 K IDR.
It has to be said that the sprouting of these food boxes has allowed for more options in more places for those looking for pork in Jakarta. However, more options need not always mean better outcomes.
This particular joint is relatively okay i guess. The asking price is kind of what most others would probably charge for a similar meal. However, one is said to say that most of this serving leaves one thinking that it was quite unremarkable.
Don't get me wrong, i think they executed the roast pork really really well - it was soft on the inside and just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. If we were just to mark the meat then it is maybe one of the top ten one can find in Jakarta.
Sadly it is also a bit on the too salty side and i guess it does become a bit too oily due to the less than average serving of the sambal matah. The rice was just the the right amount and i guess the rice itself was just so so, but the fact that the sambal is a bit too salty while it doesn't actually pack a punch just compounds the saltiness of the meat.
So all in all, its serving is almost just right for 45 K, the meat is almost great, but i guess even in the same vicinity i would probably try the other outlets next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Porky Brothers for lunch, I decided to try 2 of their porky menu ?, Salted Egg Pork with Rice and Bulgogi Pork (Tanpa Telur). In my opinion, their Salted Egg Pork with Rice is pretty good, steamed white rice topped with fried pork glazed in salted egg sauce served with sunny side up, yum ?. For their Bulgogi Pork (Tanpa Telur) it's also pretty nice for me, however I kinda disappointed with their over caramelized onion, it's kinda burnt, so instead of my favorite flavors of sweet caramelized onion, this one leaves bitter taste ?. Their Bulgogi Pork also available with additional Half Boiled Egg, but I didn't add the egg cause I already have the sunny side up from the Salted Egg Pork menu ?. For this time order from Porky Brothers, i'm gonna rate them 3.75 out of 5.
