★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pondok Pesantren Ma'hadut Thalabah Babakan didirikan secara resmi pada tahun 1916 M/ 1336 H. oleh KH. Mufti bin Salim bin Abdur Rahman, seorang ulama asal Balapulang Kabupaten Tegal. Beliau di ambil menantu oleh kyai Sulaiman, seorang Bekel (Kepala Desa) Jatimulya yang dikenal kaya raya di wilayah kecamatan Lebaksiu saat itu.
KH. Mufti bin Salim bin Abdur Rohman, telah mulai merintis kegiatan pesantren ini sejak tahun 1913 M, yakni dengan membuka kegiatan pengajian umum di masjid jami’ dukuh Babakan yang di ikuti oleh 12 orang dari lingkungan Babakan.
Ketika kegiatan sudah berjalan 2 tahun dan peserta kegiatan mulai bertambah banyak, maka pada tahun 1916 M, beliau mulai mengembangklan kegiatan keagamaanya,dengan membangun sebuah mushola di ujung selatan pedukuhan Babakan yang merupakan sentral seluruh kegiatan keagamaan yang di pimpin beliau. Sedangkan para peserta pengajian yang berminat untuk bermukim, mereka membangun sendiri tempat pemukiman sejumlah 4 kamar yang masing – ukuran 3 x 2 m2. dengan lokasi di sebelah selatan musholla.
Sejak saat itulahtempat aktifitas keagamaan ini di kenal dan di kukuhkan sebagai Pondok Pesantren Ma'hadut Thalabah.
 Pondok Pesantren Ma'hadut Thalabah Babakan was officially established in 1916 AD / 1336 H. by KH. Mufti bin Salim bin Abdur Rahman, a scholar from Balapulang, Tegal Regency. He was taken by Kyai Sulaiman, a Bekel (Village Head) from Jatimulya who was known to be rich in the Lebaksiu sub-district at that time.
KH. Mufti bin Salim bin Abdur Rohman, has started this pesantren activity since 1913 AD, namely by opening a public recitation activity at the Masjid Jami 'Hamlet Babakan which was attended by 12 people from the Babakan neighborhood.
When the activity had been running for 2 years and the activity participants began to increase in number, then in 1916 AD, he began to develop his religious activities, by building a mosque at the southern end of Babakan hamlet which was the center of all religious activities which he led. Meanwhile, for the recitation participants who were interested in living, they built their own residential areas with a total of 4 rooms, each measuring 3 x 2 m2. with a location to the south of the mosque.
Since then, this place of religious activity was known and confirmed as the Ma'hadut Thalabah Islamic Boarding School.

tapi peraturanya kurang disiplin.....soalya para santri /santriwati bebas keluar masuk buat jajan setiap hari.jadi seakan seolah olah kaya di bebaskan buat jajan.
a place to gain knowledge of the Islamic religion as a foundation and provision of human morals.
but the rules are not disciplined.....the problem is that the santri / female students are free to go in and out for snacks every day. so it seems as if rich are freed for snacks.
