Padahal secara administratif wilayah ini masuk ke dalam wilayah Desa Wirokerten, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul. Sedangkan Giwangan merupakan sebuah Kelurahan di Kecamatan Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta. Sepertinya pengembang tidak 'pede' menamakan perumahan ini tanpa kata 'Giwangan'. Untuk diketahui bahwa Wilayah Desa Wirokerten merupakan wilayah dengan perkembangan yang pesat dan merupakan salah satu penyangga wilayah Kota.
For marketing reasons, the developer then adds the 'Giwangan' appendage to the name of this housing estate. Whereas administratively this area is included in the Wirokerten Village area, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency. While Giwangan is a sub-district in Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta City. It looks like the developer is not 'confident' to call this housing without the word 'Giwangan'. To note that the Wirokerten Village Region is an area with rapid development and is one of the buffer areas of the City.
