Memiliki lapangan luas dibagian depan, serta lokasi strategis yaitu di depan jalan raya nasional serta ditambah dengan sebelah RSUD Prembun menjadi kantor polisi ini sangat baik. It has a large field in the front, and a strategic location, which is in front of the national highway and added to the adjoining RSUD Prembun to be a very good police station. Formerly this building was the administrative office of the sugar factory Suikerfabriek Remboen which was established in 1926. Now it only leaves a few buildings around this area

Bangunan ini dahulu merupakan bagian dari Pabrik Gula Remboen yang beroperasi di pusat kota Prembun. Bangunan Polsek dahulu merupakan kediaman administatur PG Remboen sehingga bentuk lawas bangunan masih terlihat hingga saat ini.
The Prembun Police Station building is one of the remaining Dutch heritages in Kebumen. This building was formerly part of the Remboen Sugar Factory which operates in the center of Prembun. The Polsek building was once the residence of the Remboen PG administrator, so the old form of the building is still visible today.
