It was a nice trip to coffee lover shop, though the place was minimum of sign, so little but confuse with direction. From Fatmawati Road, if you are heading to Aneka Buana, turn to right not far from One Bell Park. Philo is on the right side around 150 meter, black fence

The best indonesian coffee beans roastery known to man!!!! This place is legendary, their beans are gorgeus and complex! And all of their menu is super affordable!!! My favourite beans here: Dolok Sanggul, still IMO the best indonesian coffee ever. The taste of jackfruit is very clear, very mellow and sweet and overall clear and with a clean finish. This is a must try!. Bali toya, this one is amazing, it is sweet and fruity, but I cant tell what fruit it is, although it is familiar. It has a medium body, almost a syrup like mouthfeel, but it is not bitter at all! The finish is nutty. The price for filter with chemex or kono is only 15k, where else would you get 15k for chemex!!! And other methode, tubruk is 10k. But I must remind you, this is a purist coffee enthusiast holyland, not the coffee shop for ala-ala and photos. Parking is a bit hard, only 1 space for car although it is often quite. You could park at bellpark, it is a not so long walk from there, only 100m. Oh and this place sells coffee gears as well, at a good price actually.

Ordered a unique roast called "Gulali" , brewed with a Chemex and that's the sweetest Chemex brewed coffee I have ever tasted (mind you that I don't add any sweetener in it) And now (IMHO) this independent coffee purist's oasis is on par with Aroma Kopi Nusantara, both now have my highest independent coffee roaster & brewer grade. Fresh quality beans with local fair trade and unique roasting methods... Oh, and they sell loads off coffee thingamajig and I mean LOADS

Its a small place but it sells a lot of interesting home grown coffee. You can buy your own coffee beans or just take a sip made by the barista. Its on a small road so keep your eyes on the green gate!

Ordered robusta iced coffee through gofood, coffee tasted excellent. Took out 1 star because glass was not full. I understand that the barista needs to make space for the possibly melted ice during delivery, but there’s too much empty space.

Quite famous enough for selling a full range of Coffee Gear, I love to stop by and have a Coffee there at the back little terrace where you can smoke and meet with the three home dogs (one is a bit grumpy tho eheh). Buying some of their product, always happy to get the tote bag in place of the plastic one. Recommended place for Coffee Aficionado.

You can buy coffee gears, coffee beans, read good books about coffee making process, drink a good and affordable single origin coffee, and have a chit-chat with the people and the owner of Philo Coffee. They're very friendly and welcome for a fruitful discussion about coffee.
