★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traveling to this place is a real challenge. From Jakarta to parung panjang by train, the trip was good. But from parung panjang to cipining darunajah was terrible. Road conditions horrible, bumby, very dusty, lots lots of trucks carrying limestones. Approximately 2 hrs to reach this pesantren. When we reached, we saw students walking by or crossing in that dangerous road that put me off. The pesantren's domitaries were poorly lit and poor ventilation. Food waste strewn just boldly outside canteen, very unhygienic. Be prepared to be attacked by mosquitoes. Will never ever visit this place again. Just wonder how the students can stay in this kind of an environment.
