★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mbak Mia, mas Yoan (her husband) and their family is very friendly. They welcomed me warmly. The place itself is in the middle of people's housing, and it's very quiet, as it is some 100 meters from a small asphalt road. There is a mosque nearby, so if you are not used to the sound of adzan, you may want to buy earplugs.
This is a perfect place to be alone - especially in low seasons. It has large parking area, you can even park you motorcycle in front of your room. The lobby has a nice, traditional vibe to it.
The place is not close to busy areas, but Google Maps can find it accurately. If you're going through small roads where padi fields are on your left and right, you're not lost. If, after a short while, you found yourself between thin trees, you're almost there.
If you want to travel around the hills and forests in Bantul and its surroundings, this would be a nice choice of accommodation. But it is quite far from the Southern beaches. My tip: rent a motor bike or scooter! That's the way to go around here.
