★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded and messy, no signs so you better know where you're going. There was a huge traffic jam because the parking machine was malfunctioning. The boats available here are mostly traditional boats, so it will take longer to the destination. Ride comfort depends on how many people are onboard and whether you can find a good spot. There are few proper seat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was hard for Bluebird taxis to find the this place the road was not paved and very muddy. When we arrived there was so much traffic. We only saw one sign with a boat on it. We could not see wharf, the water or any other ticket offices. Would not recommend for non Indonesia speaking people as it would be difficult to locate this place and communicate your needs. We received great service at Ancol Marina and Sea Leader gave us a comfortable and quick transport to Tidung Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The roads to get here was watery because of the rising tides. Better come with a car or bus. They also have sunglasses and hat seller at the port. The ticket to other island is very affordable around 45k IDR or $5. (May vary according to your route)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kali Adem port is alternative port to go to Kepulauan Seribu (Thousand Islands). On October 16, 2021, I went to Tidung Island from this port. I couldn't give a perfect review since it was under construction. It would be unfair if we compare it with a port like, let say, Merak.
However, if you want to go to this port, you have to ask as many as possible to the people to avoid miss direction and get lost somewhere. We have to do that since the road directions are only few and not so clear.
At this port, there two kind ships, traditional wooden ships and modern ships. The wooden ships belong to private company and the ticket price is a bit expensive compare to the government one. The ticket person asked 100 thousand rupiahs for three of us, my son, wife and me. While the government ships are more modern and bigger with full air conditioner. The ticket price is also a bit cheaper.
Finally, It was sad I gave only 2 stars for the review. As a tourism port, it should have been much better, comfortable and nice public facilities. If the government wants more income it should invest more and serve the tourist properly, not asking the money
