★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice museum but small. There is an entrance fee to get inside, it costs IDR 5,000 and you will have a guided tour inside. People are very friendly. There is a small workshop inside where you can do different kinds of batik for free. Just next to the museum there is the biggest mosque in Pekalongan and also the KM 0 point right in front of the museum. You only need arou d 30 - 45 minutes to stroll around. They only have 3 rooms for you to get inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This batik museum is located on Jatayu street, Pekalongan city. there are many collections of batik from all over Indonesia. there exhibited materials of manufacture materials ranging from types of fabrics, types of candles, fans as well as dyes, both natural and synthetic. and there are also very complete batik tools both original and replica. inside the museum there is information about the origin of batik, the year of manufacture, and the origin of the production area. the visitors can also learn batik by being accompanied by a companion.
