Their main dish is pecel salad with rice and mangut lele (deep fried catfish in heavy curry), that cooked with spices and typical rural Javanese way. The place to eat is only enough for about 15-20 people, but the Mbah Marto family is very friendly in serving us. Good meal, very low price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditionaly warong... the mangut lele (catfish with light curry soup) and belut goreng (fried eel) are nice... also pecel (javanese salad with peanut sauce) and also "jangan ndeso" (traditional vegetable stew)... try all of those

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest Pecel & Mangut Lele stalls in Yogyakarta. Considered as the legend of the authentic food. Also known as "Pecel Baywatch" since the late Mbah Warno always using the 'kutang' while serving the food to the customers with all her heart. Worth to visit & try!
