★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eventhough this is traditional market, I still want to review it in english because perhaps there are foreigners live by near this market and seek for information about this market.
Well, first of all, you can easily find this place near Jalan Tajem. This place can be seen from your moving vehicle in moderate speed also, because it is always crowded. Like other traditional markets, this place is humid, wet, stinks, dusty, etc. Here you can find vegetables, tofu, fish, chicken meat, red meat, any cooked foods, snacks, rice, spices, sugar, eggs, any kind of noodles, seasoning, biscuits, milk, and beverages. The prices are vary among the sellers, but still low prices (usually the prices are based on the condition of the things they sell or how good you bargain to the and also depend on your loyalty to them: mean if you often buy to them and they recognize you, the price will be cheaper than usual). The parking lot only can amount motorcycles (around 50 of them), and I suggest you to do not ever drive cars since it would be hard finding parking lot for them -or if you insisted to- you should park a little bit further form the market. The seller always very nice, BUT I GUARANTEE that none of them can speak english or other foreign languages, so be better use Bahasa Indonesia to them when doing transaction.
