Crowded ..
Smelling ..
There is no sign where you can find meat, vegetable etc .
It makes me taking more time to find what i need ..
I suggest you do negotiate ..
The price is low ..
i can hold the smell and bad facilities ..
The corridor is muddy .. so go with pants and flip flops ..
And the traffis is bad due to ANGKOT ( Mini bus ) that always stop carelessly ..
No official parking area ..

Opens late to dawn for best and fresh produce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical traditional market In Jakarta. Be prepared to rough it out with wet areas and unfavourable market smell. As it is described here, it is a non-aircon traditional market. They sell fresh meat, fresh vegetables, herbs and cooking condiments. There also some small shop lots that sell electrical items, plastic wares, and clothing including traditional batik. You probably need to be here earlier in the morning, at sevenish to get the fresh meat.
The stalls owners and operators are local Indonesian, they can only converse in Indonesian language.
