Besides being spacious, the Cikampek Market area is also integrated with the bus terminal and the train station. In addition to providing all the needs of the community starting from basic needs, clothing, electronics to building materials, the prices of goods sold at Cikampek Market are also known to be cheaper.
Although recently there are several shopping centers in Cikampek including the Yogya Department Store and Cikampek Mall (Cimal), but the existence of the Cikampek Market as a public market is still irreplaceable. Not only the surrounding community, there are quite a lot of residents from the area around Cikampek and even Pantura Subang who shop for basic needs in this market.
When they want to shop in large quantities, some residents will choose Cikampek Market because the availability of goods is fairly complete and also the price is said to be cheaper. Although there is currently the Cikopo Central Market, residents who want to buy necessities such as sugar, flour, vegetable oil, kitchen spices and equipment, fish, chicken and meat are still shopping at the legendary market.
In addition to the availability of goods and low prices, the Cikampek Market area is also very easy to reach from various directions. Moreover, in this market area there is also a bus terminal that serves Jakarta, Bekasi and several cities in West Java. Besides the bus terminal, not far from this market there is also a train station, namely Cikampek Railway Station.
And as i remember, when i am in high school, me and my friends travel go mount hiking, started through this Cikampek rail station as a meeting point. Just like any other teenager, who love to mount hiking after class examinaton over. It was very long time ago, its just feel like yesterday. And the memory still vouch in my head. This rail station was the base of the adventure journey.
And now i am stood under my feet again at this station, after my home trip from Yogyakarta. May be i do smoking here, while other passager down the train, leaving station. Ha..ha..ha.. just as high school memory
