★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panti asuhan dan pondok pesantren Abu Dzar Al Ghifari ini adalah panti asuhan khusus anak yatim sekaligus pondok pesantren penghafal Al Quran yang berlokasi di dusun Kalimanjung, Ambarketawang, Gamping, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Lokasinya memang agak masuk ke dalam, jika dari arah kota Jogja lurus aja ke barat menuju Jalan Wates, perempatan barat RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping belok kiri kurang lebih 500 meter ada tugu belok kanan lurus saja sekitar 600 meter, bangunan panti asuhan berada di kiri jalan (di tengah persawahan).
Panti asuhan dan pondok pesantren yang dipimpin oleh Ustadz Nur Kholis ini mempunyai anak asuh sebanyak 25 orang putra dan 15 orang putri dan diasuh oleh pengasuh sebanyak 15 orang. Usia anak asuhnya beragam dari SD sampai perguruan tinggi ada semua. Saat ini panti asuhan ini masih membutuhkan donasi untuk perluasan bangunan yang mendukung kegiatan anak asuh
The orphanage and boarding school of Abu Dzar Al Ghifari is an orphanage as well as an Al-Qur'an memorizing boarding school located in the hamlet of Kalimanjung, Ambarketawang, Gamping, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The location is indeed rather inside, if from the direction of the city of Jogja just go west to Jalan Wates, the west crossroad of PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in the middle of rice fields).
The orphanage and Islamic boarding school, led by Ustadz Nur Kholis, has 25 foster sons and 15 daughters and is taken care of by 15 carers. There are all foster children from elementary school to tertiary level. At present the orphanage still needs donations to expand the building to support the activities of foster children
