Kendal merupakan salah satu daerah yang memilki banyak tempat latihan PSHT. Dengan ada banyaknya ranting-ranting maka PSHT Cabang Kemdal juga memilki Padepokan yang semestinya ada seperti di cabang-cabang PSHT lain.Padepokan PSHT Cabang Kendal berlokasi di Desa Jenarsari Kecamatan Gemuh. Berletak ke arah selatan dari jalan Pantura Kendal, tepatnya dari lampu Bangjo Jenarsari ke arah selatan.
Banyaknya tempat latihan di Kendal menjadikan banyaknya siswa-siswa yang ikut berlatih. Dan ketika proses latihan sudah mulai memasuki masa akhir, maka pengesahan di bulan Suro pun diadakan seperti biasanya. Namun ada tradisi yang membedakan PSHT Cabang Kendal dengan lainnya. Sudah menjadi tradisi yang melekat dan menjadikan ciri khas dari PSHT Cabang Kendal, selepas pengesahan para warga baru pun diadakan lari dari Alun-alun Kendal menuju Padepokan. Para warga yang baru diangkut menaiki truk dari Padepokan hingga Alun-alun lalu dimulailah lari dalam melestarikan tradisi dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Adapun dokumentasi lari pasca pengesahan warga baru sebagai berikut.

Kendal is one area that has many PSHT practice sites. With so many branches, PSHT Kemdal Branch also has Padepokan which should be there like in other PSHT branches. Padalokan PSHT Branch is located in Jenarsari Village, Gemuh District. Located to the south of the Pantal Kendal road, precisely from the Bangjo Jenarsari lights to the south.
The large number of practice sites in Kendal makes many students participate in the practice. And when the training process has begun to enter its final period, the endorsement in the month of Suro is held as usual. But there is a tradition that distinguishes Kendal Branch from PSHT with others. It has become an inherent tradition and makes the hallmark of the Kendal PSHT Branch, after the ratification of new residents was held running from Kendal Square to Padepokan. The residents who had just been taken aboard a truck from Padepokan to Alun-alun then started running in preserving the traditions of previous years. The documentation of running after the ratification of new residents is as follows.
