★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saya biasa makan di rancak, yang layanin ramah-ramah. Tapi akhir ini yang jaga bukan orang yang biasanya, ketus (ciri-cirinya nenek lanjut usia). Biasanya memang ibu setengah baya yang ramah. Setelah saya tanya ke salah satu karyawan, "ibu(uni) yang biasanya ramah dengan jilbab modis dimana?" katanya yang aplusan per 3 bulan. Jadi saya kesampingkan pelayanan nenek yang ketus tsb mengingat masakan di rancak memang enak terlebih untuk ayam bakarnya. Semoga pelayan yang nenek-nenek tsb bisa lebih ramah mengingat ini adalah usaha jasa dan kuliner.

So I put aside the sterile service of the grandmother, considering that the dishes in the ambience are indeed delicious especially for the baked chicken. Hopefully the grandmother's servants can be more friendly considering this is a service and culinary business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nagari Rancak adalah salah satu rumah makan padang yang sudah cukup lama berjualan di otista. Biasanya gue makan telur dadar, rendang, atau ayam bakarnya sebagai menu andalan. Oiya udang baladonya juga seru lho. Selain itu ada juga paru dan dendeng baladonya yang juga jadi menu jagoan disini. Biasanya gue makan dalam bentuk nasi bungkus, jadi dibeliin orang rumah atau pesan. Di minggu siang ini gue mampir untuk makan disana selepas dari rumah teman. Dekorasi dan bangunannya gak banyak berubah sejak terakhir gue makan disini yang mungkin udah 4 tahun lalu atau lebih. Dominasi warna putih membuat suasana siang itu terang walaupun memang agak panas sih, apalagi di rumah makan ini tidak ber AC. Gue pesan nasi dengan ayam bakarnya yang basic tapi gak mengecewakan. Untuk rasa, jujur bukan masakan padang yang akan gue acungi jempol karena rasanya terkesan standar dan agak berbeda dengan rasa ayam bakar yang dulu gue kenal. Positifnya adalah rasanya lebih pedas, jadi kekecewaan cukup tertutupi. Namun kesan terakhir adalah yang cukup memprihatinkan. Saat gue bayar dan bilang, "Bu jadi berapa? Tadi ayam bakar dada sama teh." Lalu si ibu penjaga kasa bertanya dengan ketus ,"manis apa tawar?" Setelah menyebut harga (21 ribu) gue pun menyerahkan uang selembar 50 ribu yang dikembalikan tanpa ada sepatah katapun. Sangat disayangkan kejadian seperti ini terjadi di rumah makan yang sudah lama ada, apalagi di bidang usaha kuliner.
Nagari Rancak is one of the food restaurants in Padang that has been selling for quite a while. Usually I eat omelet, rendang, or baked chicken as a mainstay menu. The Oiya shrimp is also exciting, you know? In addition there are also lung and beef jerky baladoes which are also the champs menu here. Usually I eat it in the form of rice wrap, so I buy someone from the house or order. On Sunday afternoon I stopped by to eat there after my friend's house. The decorations and buildings haven't changed much since I last ate here which might have been 4 years ago or more. The dominance of white makes the atmosphere of the afternoon bright even though it is rather hot, especially in this restaurant not air conditioned. I ordered rice with basic chicken but it didn't disappoint. To taste, honestly it is not Padang food that I will thumb up because it feels impressed standard and somewhat different from the taste of grilled chicken that I used to know. The positive is it feels more spicy, so disappointment is quite covered up. But the final impression is quite alarming. When I pay and say, "How do you make it? How come the chicken grilled chest and tea." Then the gauze guard mother asked curtly, "how sweet is it fresh?" After mentioning the price (21 thousand) I also handed over a piece of 50 thousand that was returned without a word. It is unfortunate that events like this occur in restaurants that have been around for a long time, especially in the field of culinary business.
