★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gedung ini dibangun dengan dua tahap oleh seorang baba bangsawan dan tuan tanah, Khouw Tjeng Kee, Luitenant der Chinezen. Ia mempunyai dua saudara laki-laki, Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Tjoan dan Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Po. Ayah mereka adalah seorang tuan tanah bernama Luitenant-titulair der Chinezen Khouw Tian Sek.[1]
Setelah kematian Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Kee, kepengurusan baik tanah partikelir maupun Landhuis Tamboen jatuh ke tangan putra sang Luitenant, yaitu Khouw Oen Hoei. Ia adalah adik O. G. Khouw yang dimakamkan di mausoleum tersohor dan mewah di Petamburan. Sepupu mereka yang paling terkemuka pada era kolonial adalah Khouw Kim An, Majoor der Chinezen terakhir di Batavia, yang adalah putra paman mereka, Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Tjoan.[1]
Tahap pertama pembangunan mulai pada tahun 1906, dan selesai pada tahun 1910. Kemudian tahap ke-dua pada tahun 1925. Pada awalnya, halaman depan Gedung Juang Tambun yang terlihat dari jalan Hasanudin ini banyak ditanami oleh pohon mangga yang pada masa itu tidak begitu dikenal di kalangan masyarakat wilayah Tambun dan Bekasi.[2]
Landhuis dan tanah partikelir Tamboen disita dari keluarga Khouw van Tamboen pada tahun 1942 di tengah penjajahan Jepang. Pada saat perang kemerdekaan melawan Belanda, Gedung Juang yang pada saat itu dikenal dengan nama Gedung Tinggi dijadikan tempat pertahanan oleh para pejuang kemerdekaan yang itu berpusat di wilayah Tambun dan Cibarusah.
Gedung juang Tambun ini berlokasi hanya beberapa kilometer dari perbatasan wilayah terluar Batavia yaitu wilayah Sasak Jarang yang kini menjadi wilayah perbatasan antara kecamatan Bekasi Timur, kota Bekasi dengan kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi. Akibat pertahanan Belanda di wilayah Bekasi sering diserang, maka Belanda sering meninggalkan tempat pertahanannya di wilayah Bekasi dan menarik diri untuk memperkuat wilayah pertahanannya di Klender, yang kemudian menjadi batas antara kota Bekasi dengan Jakarta Timur.
Gedung ini juga menjadi tempat perundingan pertukaran tawanan antara Belanda dengan para pejuang kemerdekaan Indonesia. Pejuang kemerdekaan Indonesia dipulangkan oleh Belanda ke wilayah Bekasi dan tentara Belanda dipulangkan ke Batavia melalui Stasiun Tambun yang lintasan relnya tepat berada di belakang gedung ini.
This building was built in two stages by a noble baba and landlord, Khouw Tjeng Kee, Luitenant der Chinezen. He has two brothers, Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Tjoan and Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Po. Their father was a landlord named Luitenant-titulair der Chinezen Khouw Tian Sek. [1]
After the death of Luitenant Khouw Tjeng Kee, the management of both private land and Landhuis Tamboen fell to the son of the Luitenant, namely Khouw Oen Hoei. He is the younger brother of O. G. The first stage of construction began in 1906, and was completed in 1910. Then the second stage was in 1925. At first, the front yard of the Juang Tambun Building, which can be seen from Jalan Hasanudin, was planted with mango trees which were not so well known at that time. among the people of Tambun and Bekasi areas. [2]
The landhuis and private land of Tamboen were confiscated from the Khouw van Tamboen family in 1942 during the Japanese occupation. During the war of independence against the Dutch, Gedung Juang, at that time known as Gedung Tinggi, was used as a place of defense by the freedom fighters who were based in the Tambun and Cibarusah areas.
The Tambun fighting building is located only a few kilometers from the border of the outer area of Batavia, namely the Sasak Jarang area, which is now the border area between East Bekasi sub-district, Bekasi city and South Tambun sub-district, Bekasi Regency. As a result of the Dutch defense in the Bekasi area that was frequently attacked, the Dutch often left their defensive areas in the Bekasi area and withdrew to strengthen their defensive area in Klender, which then became the boundary between Bekasi and East Jakarta.
This building was also a place for prisoner exchange negotiations between the Dutch and Indonesian freedom fighters. The Indonesian independence fighters were sent back by the Dutch to the Bekasi area and the Dutch soldiers were sent back to Batavia via Tambun Station, which has a railroad right behind this building.

Keren banget sih belajar sejarah gaperlu jauh jauh, masa orang tambun gatau sejarah Bekasi hehe.. Rekomendasi banget dari aku, kalian wajib kesini pokoknya. Jangan lupa pakai proses ya teman-teman.
