★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tahun 1834 Kabupaten Purworejo, pada masa pemerintahan Bupati Raden Kanjeng Tumenggung Cokro Negoro I dengan patih Raden Patih Cokro Joyo, telah tercemin adanya pengaturan dalam bidang keagamaan meskipun belum menyeluruh; misalnya untuk urusan pernikahan telah ditangani oleh seorang penghulu yang waktu itu dijabat oleh K. Baedowi dan urusan percerain ditangani oleh penghulu landrad yang dijabat oleh K.H. Muhammad. Pelakasanaan akad nikah diselenggarakan di serambi masjid, Penghulu atau Naib mencatat peristiwa nikah dengan tulisan arab pegon berbahasa Jawa. Dokumen peristiwa nikah ini masih terarsip dengan baik di Kantor KUA Purworejo 1 yang menyebut angka tertua tahun 1830. Pencatatan nikah itu berlangsung terus menerus atas nama Raja hingga saat ini yang dicatat atas nama pemerintah.
In 1834 Purworejo Regency, during the reign of the Regent Raden Kanjeng Tumenggung Cokro Negoro I with the patih Raden Patih Cokro Joyo, it was reflected in the existence of regulations in the religious field, although not yet comprehensive; for example, for marriage matters have been handled by a penghulu who was then held by K. Baedowi and divorce matters were handled by the penghulu landrad held by K.H. Muhammad. The marriage contract is held in the foyer of the mosque, the Penghulu or Naib records the marriage event in Arabic writing in Javanese language. The document of this marriage event is still well archived at the Office of the KUA Purworejo 1 which mentions the oldest figure in 1830. The marriage registration continues on behalf of the King until now, which is recorded in the name of the government.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baru pertama kali kesini, datang jam 12 an, kantor lumayan sepi. Dilayani dengan baik. Kesini untuk pendaftaran ibadah haji, nunggu sebentar, terus difoto sama sidik jari. Selesai. Untuk pengurusan ibadah haji ada di belakang di lantai 2 bagian timur.
