Old style restorant. With extra ordinary food. Very small place to eat. Approx about 20peoples can sit inside this resto. But the taste quite delicious. U must try Bakso Tahu. The Tahu is very good taste!

A hole in the wall bakmi shop in an obscure back alley that serves the original pork bakmi. So damn good. As mentioned in other reviews, make sure to ask for the crispy pork skin

Recommended by a friend of mine as one of old style noodle in town. The place is kinda secluded inside an alley but should be easy to spot from its signage. Entering the shop was old style and seems original. Few tables are available. You can order noodles and some chinese food such as fried noodle, cap cay for share. If you come alone better stick to noodle. The menu has only chicken noodle but you can always ask for roast pork and/or crispy pork as topping. They also have few side dishes such as pork satay and wohiang. The size is quite generous and filling for myself. The noodle itself seems like homemade, quite thick with very nice texture. Not too chewy or too hard. Pork lard is definitely added. The wonton noodle comes with 4 wonton in the soup. Total damage for one wonton noodle with mixed pork topping is IDR 50k, which is quite expensive compared to market.

Its been around for very very long, should be considered a heritage, I like the food, nasi campur, capcay and Fuyunghai is a must try, quite a big portion though, usually being shared in a family dinner/lunch.. sometimes also order chicken noodle, tasty..

Lunch at this old eatery off in an alley in Pasar Baroe area ~ Soen Yoe. Used to meet the owner at our pork supplier stall in the fresh market, back when me still running my own eatery. At first me didn't realized he owns an eatery as well, until one day me went to his place & saw his familiar face there ☺ For today, me ordered Bihun Ayam Pangsit aka rice noodle with chicken & wonton, while Mom ordered Bihun Goreng (fried rice noodle) & a side dish of Baso Babi Kuah (pork meatballs soup). Unfortunately the taste was less strong than the last time me remembered it to be. The texture of the rice noodle could be soften a little bit more for my personal liking.

This is an old-school Chinese noodle / rice joint in a small lane of Pasar Baru area. We ordered a few of their dishes for a Sunday brunch recently and they're quite good. The highlights were the fried ngo-hiang and the fish ball soup. Their noodles and wonton dumplings were OK but nothing special. Service was reasonable for casual diners in the area, but don't expect great ambience here since it is just a small old-school diner with no A/C or background music for comfort. Prices on the menu are quite high but still comparable with other similar joints in the area. You can only pay by cash to prove that it is an old-school place.

One of the oldest chinese restaurants that still exist in pasar baru. Very tiny yet clean. One of my favourite menu is bakmi goreng, which never let me down.it always good to be back here and enjoy old school chinese food.

Mie Soen Yoe has been here from when my mom was in her 20s. I remember she used to take us here to eat after a long day of strolling in Pasar Baru. Today I’m in my 20s, coming back from out of Indonesia and this is the first thing that I look for first. After 10 years of not coming here, the longing that I had has been answeredβ€”it is exactly the way I remember it to be. In my honest opinion: for that amount of money, the nasi campur is worth it. So much toppings.
