★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might be the best mi ayam ever. Yogyakarta's food is known to be sweet, it's kinda hard to find mi ayam that is not just sweet but also has a kick in it so this mi ayam is balanced. But, if you don't like spices, especially pepper, you might want to tell the cook to reduce it. A little bit far from the city, but you can definitely enjoy the ride. And it's very cheap. 10k for a plate of mi ayam goreng.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best Mie Ayam or Chichen Noodle in Sleman Regency. Its quite famous among local culinary lovers. The location is a bit difficult to find for foreigners or visitors from oher city. Is is located on the west of Jombor Bus Station of Yogyakarta, aproximately 10 kilometers.
The Mie Ayam is great, and this place is famous for its Fried Chicken Noodle or Mie Ayam Goreng.
Anyway, it does not tastes like any regular Mie Ayam. It tastes a little bit different.

What differs it from regular central javanese-style chicken noodle is that, after raw noodle was soaked in boiling water, it's drained, and mixed with onion oil, spices, and sweet soy sauces.
The taste is quite spicy. Ask the seller to reduce the amount of white peppers if you're bringing toddler.
