★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer of the legendary Mie ayam Engko in Kalideres area since the 90s. When visiting my grandfather's house in Kalideres, we usually buy these chicken noodles. Back when Engko was still around, he cooked noodles using firewood. So that the resulting taste is very distinctive with the aroma of smoked noodles. Unique and of course delicious. The soft texture of the noodles and minced chicken which is not sweet but salty, savory and dry are also very suitable to be combined as a topping for the noodles. Now this business is being continued by his daughter and son-in-law. Although now it is cooked using LPG gas, the taste has not changed much since long ago. For only fourteen thousand rupiahs, you can get a bowl of tasty chicken noodles.
