★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you come here, I recommend you to try bakso urat and rusuk. The mie ayam is just so so cause I came here twice. The first visit was nicer than the second. Their noodle consistency is lacking. Maybe because too crowd for holiday season in yogya.the price is quite cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With many response I saw in this reviews I'm trying to be objectives from every perspective. I tried Bakso Rusuk (25K, it's the expensive one) the meatballs taste good I like the texture chewy and not to soft but the little problem is the ribs it's a little to hard to chew and to swallow probably they didn't boil them for long time it's sure fall from the bone but the meat didn't taste like I'm expected. One portion of Bakso Rusuk isn't include meatball tofu it separate and cost 2K each.
I ordered dawet ice(3K) and Campur ice(5K) the dawet ice didn't taste bad but surely not good as the one in the street the sugar didn't taste that great in my tongue for the campur ice I didn't recommended if you looking for the avocado, or seaweed there's none because the filling contain dawet, jelly and i forgot the other one. Well what do you expect from 5K?
Now the location, it has big space for a parking lot but small dining area probably for less than 50 people, and the condition it surely needs more fan or aircon or whatever because it's hot. Luckily enough I came when the weather isn't really hot that day. Can't imagine only have one wall small fan and eat with 30 people with sweat because it's bakso who eat bakso and not sweating?
Oh yeah one more thing, There's no tax. So that's also a plus. Yippie!!

This place like a home; comfortable and homey. looking for the menu was offered greatly then the price is very affordable, its start from 10k for the meatballs and noddle for the drinks start from 2k. Come and enjoy the food there ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a large and very popular outlet of the Bakso Idolaku food chain at Jl. Taman Siswa in Wirogunan, Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City. It offers meatball dishes, chicken noodles and fresh beverages. In fact this is the first meatball shop in Yogyakarta Special Region and Central Java Province which was built as a real restaurant. I, my students and family used to be regular customers here. Exotic traditional drinks like iced dawet (cendol) are also available. The place is divided into a front section with high chairs and a much more popular back section with lesehan (sitting on floor carpets) style in a large Javanese joglo building. Both sections are separated by a narrow lane accessible by cars. Clean toilets and musholla (moslem prayer room). Minus: the tea is just ordinary.
