MIM Gumantar berlokasi di Gumantar, 001/012 Kwarasan Juwiring Klaten, MI Muhammadiyah Gumantar ini sudah terakreditasi dengan nomor npsn 60711639.
Letaknya di perkampungan pinggir sawah, namun mampu bersaing dengan Madrasah atau sekolah setingkat lainnya, seperti SDI Internasional Nurul Musthofa, SDI MTA maupun MI Ma’arif Kwarasan.
