A really nice place. Not big, but carismatic with a warm ambiance. No entrance fee. Not over-run by tourists. Just lovely.

Not too popular temple but near by Borobudur temple. Place is so quiet, pleasant, not too crowdy and good place for holiday or stopping by. Really recommended place

It’s a very beautiful temple but the complex is too close to the street and the residential area. Luckily we can find a very beautiful budhist monastery next to this temple We can find 3 important tree that mentioned in the relief, the bodhi tree, the kalpataru tree and sala tree. It’s my first time seeing sala tree, the tree where budga gautama passed away; it’s so calming and pretty to see

Quite small but beautiful Buddha inside. Lovely garden surrounding it. Cheap to see this and Pawon temple together. Might as well visit this if you are also visiting Borobudar temple, since it is nearby. There was nobody here at all when we visited (February).

A very beautiful monastery located in the Mendut temple's area. It was my first visit and I admired the culture and value there. I don't know why when I came it felt as if I found some peace. Such a must go destination when you want to do temple vacations.

Currently not accepting public visitors. Private visitors intending to pray might need to book or contact the staff ahead. It used to open to the public, which then allows visitors to either pray or simply take photos. The atmosphere is superbly serene.
