hadist dari Buraidah bin al Hashib, dari Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda: “segerakan shalat Asar pada hari yang penuh mendung, karena barangsiapa meningalkan shalat ashar, maka terhapuslah semua amalannya.” Dari hadits diatas, jelaslah bahwa shalat asar merupakan solat yang diutamakan untuk mengerjakannya.
