Masada Villas and Organic Farm - Bogor Regency

Don't try going here if you don't use your own car. It's far from the crowd, you won't find store nor eating place, but it's paid back by the beautiful view around the villa. Unfortunately, the glamping tent is quite dirty.

A lovely resort complex of villas and glamping tents, located a bit further from the main puncak road. Since it's on Puncak Highland, you can expect cool, crisp air and greeneries to surround you. The street going to this complex twists and turns, with several slopes a bit steep you'd have to be careful when you drive. The street itself is paved with asphalt, but some segments need a bit of repair. I stayed in a group of 4, we rented the glamping tent for a night. We arrived at about 10 pm. Several hours before, I was contacted by the complex's administrator, telling me about the complete directions to get there. Once there, we were greeted by a friendly on-site coordinator, who further guided us to the tents. The tent in which we'll be staying at was resting on a cliff, overlooking the scenery of Mt. Pangrango and Puncak itself, which is a sight to behold. At night time, we were able to gaze at the beautiful lights of the city, and at the stars and moon above, and the night sounds of nature were harmonious and clear around us. We were able to park the car just outside the tent. The tent was spacious. There's a TV with several cable channels, a water dispenser with functioning water heater, and two double beds. The bathroom is outside of the tent, right in front of the side entrance. They have shower, and the hot water was running. There's no phone in the tent however, if you want to contact the coordinator you can do so via cellphone. You can order some food from him that way. There's a patch on the ground on the tent's front side to light a campfire, but they don't seem to offer the firewood, you have to buy them yourself. One thing I must warn you: it was COLD in the tent even with the openings closed. They provide blankets, but they were not enough to stave off the cold. Do bring some thick clothing, hats, gloves, and socks to protect yourself from the cold. Moreover, it was also humid inside the tent, the moisture sticked to the bed and pillow sheets and to be honest wet and cold is very uncomfortable for your sinuses. All in all, it was a lovely stay. The best selling point is the scenery, for those who love nature and want to take a quick getaway from the busy city life. Will come again some other time!

Got chance to rent the villa A and B. It's very homey with vintage furnitures and all. The ambiance seems resembles with the set of Rumah Dara (2009) movie, yet in positive way, like time stopped around here, nostalgic and such. (+) They have outside pool and gazebos, also the tree platform for you to get nature 360° selfies. (+) Big space indoor for you to have activities while it's raining outside (January-February are rainy season) (-) Waste management need to be upgraded. Some leftover from previous renters still founded outside the house (especially behind the kitchen backdoor). Yet, all and all, it's a great place to retreat with your company.

It was a very unplanned family stay, we were supposedly stayed in another accommodation but sadly they informed us that our book was already cancelled because we were not checking in ontime, so unprofessional. We were panicking, thinking about making another hotel reservation but it was all fully booked, very understandable because it was saturday and part of the long holiday. But I remember that before the pandemic I made a plan to have a glamping with my friends which unfortunately I had to cancel because this accommodation had to temporarily closed, and that was how Masada Village came to my mind. I knew Masada village also have some villas so we called the Masada right away, but again another not shocking news that the villas was full hit us. But hey and the man on the phone told me there was two cancelled reservations on the glamping tent that I can stay in, without futher ado we booked the glamping through Traveloka and so here we go! It was our very first stay in Masada Village, the area was very unfamiliar and the extreme road upset my dad a lil bit 'cause he was the one who drove. We arrived safely in Masada at 4.30p.m, the Masada staff lead us the way to our glamping tent in lot 4 and 5. My first impression about our glamping tent was HOLY MOLLY HELL YEAH I DON'T MIND SLEEPING OUTSIDE 'cause look at that view God serves us OH MY GOD! the sunset behind the pine trees, pinkish orange sky oh WHAT A PERFECT AFTERNOON WE HAD. Okay let me bring you to our tent which is why they called this glamping, it was just basically a tent with two kingsize beds, a cable television and clean bathroom inside, but I must say we don't really need a television when we have a much better view outside and oh yeah side note on the water heater that doesn't work at all please fix it asap. Tbh at first we were a bit worried because we had one year old baby with us and this place were surrounded with the pine forest all over us so yeah, but thankfully our baby were all smile throughout the stay, she was verry happy and so were we! Wait 'till the the night came up, the city lights view will spoiled your eyes and the cold weather came with it so yeah I was ended up sleeping inside the tent, I did not want to become a frozen beef in the morning. A tip from me, set your ALARM AT 4.45 a.m and went outside right away, I won't tell you why just go outside, thank me later! If you love to walk in a forest like Bella always did in Twilight movie, they also have the track, so just get in the forest and re enact your favorite Twilight scene as much as you can. And please make sure the weather is sunny before you stay in this place 'cause a bad weather can ruin your stay. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, I'll make sure to comeback here with my friends and big family later. A very affordable place to stay with a great mountain view of Salak and Pangrango

It is a good option for nature lovers who also likes the comfort of home. The villa is nice and the view is amazing. Try enjoyimh a bonfire with a view of thousand of lights..you are gonna love it. It will be great with a big functioning pool though.

(-) The place is hard to find, especially when open close system, have to find another way and it's quite wasting time, hot water only less then 5 minutes, then back to normal water (+) fascinating view, no doubt, get the fell of nature
