★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanting to try all the martabak places in Green Lake City, I picked Martabak Qiu Qiu because of the crowd of people there.
The crowd of people set a fairly high expectation, but also brought me down into deeper disappointment.
I ordered martabak manis with wijen, kacang, & coklat. Opening the box, it looks messy & the box doesn't fit well. The ingredients are quite thinly spread with big chunks of kacang. It is neither tender nor moist, but quite dry & bland. Something is not right with the taste of the chocolate too.
I do appreciate them providing some nicely packed tissue though.
Having the same price as another martabak place just almost across the street in Green Lake City, I don't think I'll be back here again.
