★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ada salah satu makam pahlawan yang bersejarah dan memiliki pengaruh besar di Kabupaten Kulon Progo, yaitu ki sodewo yang memiliki nama asli Bagus Singlon. Ia merupakan anak dari oangeran Diponegoro dari istri selirnya, yaitu Raden Ayu Citrowati, lahir pada tahun 1860 di Madiun. Ia dibesarkan oleh KI Tembi, berasal dari kata patemben yang artinya tempat penitipan anak. Saat ia mulai dewasa, ia ingin mencari tahu siapa sosok ayahnya, lalu ia bersama ki Tembi mencari Ayahnya dan bertemu ayahnya di Kulon Progo. Ia meneruskan perjuangan ayahnya bersama laskarnya, ia ahli dalam siasat perang. Ia bergerilya bersama pasukanya untuk melawan Belanda. Sampai akhirnya ia dikhianati teman seperguruanya dan disuap oleh Belanda, iapun mati mengenaskan, kepalanya ditancapkan dan disangga menggunakan bambu di bukit Jrangking, Kaliagung, Sentolo, sedangkan badanya dibawa dan dibiarkan di sebelah utara pasar wates. Tahun 1966, tubuh dan kepalanya disatukan dan dimakamkan di makam Sideman, Giripeni, Wates
There is one of the graves of a historical hero who has a big influence in Kulon Progo Regency, namely Ki Sodewo, whose real name is Bagus Singlon. He is the son of O Pangeran Diponegoro from his concubine wife, Raden Ayu Citrowati, born in 1860 in Madiun. He was raised by KI Tembi, which comes from the word patemben which means a daycare for children. When he was growing up, he wanted to find out who his father was, so he and Ki Tembi looked for his father and met his father in Kulon Progo. He continued his father's struggle with his army, he was an expert in war tactics. He guerrilla with his troops against the Dutch. Until finally he was betrayed by his fellow teachers and bribed by the Dutch, he also died tragically, his head was stuck and supported using bamboo on the hills of Jrangking, Kaliagung, Sentolo, while his body was taken and left to the north of the wates market. In 1966, his body and head were put together and buried in the tomb of Sideman, Giripeni, Wates
