Beliau dimakamkan di sini karena Palar merupakan desa asal dari ibu Ranggawarsita. Turut pula dimakamkan di sini seroang penulis berkebangsaan Belanda Carel Frederick Winter Sr, seorang penerjemah dan penulis beberapa kitab berbahasa Jawa. CF Winter merupakan sahabat Ranggawarsita.
 The grave of the famous poet from Surakarta KRT (posthumously) Ranggawarsita, in Palar village, Trucuk sub-district, Klaten district. He was buried here because Palar is the home village of Ranggawarsita's mother. Also buried here is the Dutch writer Carel Frederick Winter Sr, a translator and author of several Javanese books. CF Winter is Ranggawarsita's best friend.

Bangunan makam unik, bergaya indis, dan bersih. Sayang nisan Raden Ayu Gombak patah, perlu diperbaiki
Raden Ngabehi Ronggowarsito, son-in-law of Kediri Regent Raden Cakradiningrat. He eats side by side with Raden Ayu Gombak, the daughter of the Regent of Kediri.
The tomb building is unique, indic style, and clean. Unfortunately Raden Ayu Gombak's tombstone is broken, it needs to be repaired
