★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rame bangettt. Apalagi menjelang bulan Ramadhan seperti sekarang. Sebelum masuk kita disambut para ikan yang berenang dengan bahagia wkwkk. Berasa sedang jumpa fans nih. Oiya, di sini ada sekitar 222 anak tangga gais (kalau naik-turun berarti sekitar 444 anak tangga). Lumayan lah ya buat olahraga sebelum puasa hehe. Sepanjang jalan naik banyak yg jualan. Ada makanan khas Jogja-Magelang, buah-buahan, aksesoris lucu, sarung dan atribut khas santri, baju, daster, fashion dan masih banyak lagi. Komplit dan murah meriah pokoknya. Cocok banget buat oleh-oleh.
 Very crowded. Especially before the month of Ramadan like now. Before entering, we were greeted by the fish who were swimming happily. I feel like I'm meeting fans. Oh yes, there are about 222 steps of the gais (going up and down means about 444 steps). Not bad for sports before fasting hehe. Along the way there are many who are selling. There are Jogja-Magelang specialties, fruits, cute accessories, sarongs and typical santri attributes, clothes, negligee, fashion and much more. Complete and cheap anyway. Very suitable for souvenirs.

Tempat parkirnya luas, pedagang oleh oleh juga banyak. Tempat yg ga pernah sepi dari peziarah. Sambil itung itung olahraga juga karena harus menaiki anak tangga yg lumayan buat sampai ke atas.
Pilgrimage to the tomb of Aulia as a means to improve the quality of our relationship with Allah SWT. The tomb of Aulia Gunung Pring is one of the places that you can visit. The parking lot is spacious, there are also a lot of traders by souvenirs. A place that is never empty of pilgrims. While counting, it's also a sport because you have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the top.

Di sepanjang jalan ada banyak sekali pedagang yang menjual beraneka ragam barang dagangan. Barang yang khas disini cobeknya yang terbuat dari batu asli. Kyai Raden Santri bernama asli Pangeran Singasari, putra Ki Ageng Pemanahan pendiri kerajaan Mataram Islam. Berbeda dengan kakaknya, Panembahan Senopati yang meneruskan memimpin kerajaan, Pangeran Singasari memilih menepi mendalami ilmu agama. Lama mengembara, Sang Pangeran kemudian memutuskan bermukim di bukit hutan bambu, arah barat Gunung Merapi. Di wilayah yang kemudian dikenal sebagai Gunung Pring (gunung bambu) inilah Pangeran Singasari mengajarkan Islam. Karena dikenal alim dan pernah nyantri ke sejumlah ulama sepuh, Pangeran Singasari dijuluki warga sekitar sebagai Raden Santri. Di bukit yang secara silsilah kepemilikan dikuasai Kraton Yogyakarta di bawah Reh Kawedanan Hageng Sriwandono bagian Puroloyo, Kyai Raden Santri akhirnya dimakamkan. Lokasi kompleks makam berada 500 meter di puncak Gunung Pring. Tidak ada kesan kumuh saat kita mengunjungi kompleks makam Kyai Raden Santri. Pengelola saat ini sedang merenovasi sejumlah anak tangga sehingga nantinya jalan menjadi lebih nyaman.

Kyai Raden Santri's real name is Prince Singasari, the son of Ki Ageng Pemanahan, the founder of the Islamic Mataram kingdom. Unlike his brother, Panembahan Senopati, who continued to lead the kingdom, Prince Singasari chose to stay away from studying religion. Long wandering, the Prince then decided to live in a bamboo forest hill, west of Mount Merapi. It was in the area that became known as Gunung Pring (mountain of bamboo) that Prince Singasari taught Islam. Because he is known to be a pious person and has studied with a number of elderly clerics, Prince Singasari is nicknamed by local residents as Raden Santri. On a hill which is genealogically controlled by the Yogyakarta Kraton under Reh Kawedanan Hageng Sriwandono part of Puroloyo, Kyai Raden Santri is finally buried. The location of the tomb complex is 500 meters at the top of Mount Pring. There is no slum impression when we visit the grave complex of Kyai Raden Santri. The manager is currently renovating a number of stairs so that later the road becomes more comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a pilgrimage site which is a cemetery of a few great Islamic religious figures. It start with a gate to stairs which lead to the main site. The cemetery is inside a building on a hill.
I didn't go inside the building since I'm not a muslim. My friend did, and he said it has a big room inside. I heard peoples chanting prayer from outside.
The place were clean and well kept although there was some ruins beside it. Maybe they were doing some restoration. There are also a few burial outside the building which might belong to local figures. There is also a small building where from I stood outside I could see books inside of it. Maybe a small library.
A long the stairs there are many small shops selling clothes, crafts, religious books and DVDs, foods, and even some selling various traditional daggers and swords. I also see some beggars on the stairs.
Parking is easy outside the gate for small busses. So a lot of group visits there.
Overall it was a pleasant experience going there. I just wish there were some place to rest on the top of the hill after hiking so many stairs. But that's just me, a fat -never exercise- unhealthy me, LOL.
