The price is worth it with the excellent taste. The waitress is funny too.
The only downside is the parking area a little cramped, but the location is strategic and easy to reach. If you forgot bring enough money, there is ATM nearby on walking distance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best authentic Chinese food in town with local taste (Javanese). It has been our family’s favorite restaurant to celebrate birthdays since i was a little kid. Definitely this is a good place to enjoy good food with family. The tables and chairs are set for dining together. And the big portion is absolutely good for sharing.
Our family’s favorites are Bestik Babi, Ayam Goreng Mentega, Mi Goreng Babi, and Capcay Babi. But best to taste is Kamar Bola and Burung Dara Goreng. Super yummy.
Open before lunch time and close temporarily for 3 hours then open again before dinner time. Price is fairly for good dishes and service. Smiling and friendly owner.

Bistik Udang was my favorite since 20 years ago. But the size kept decreasing, I think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the hidden gem in the center of Yogyakarta. Like I really mean it. From the outside, you will probably feel grossed by the appearance and the outer look of the restaurant though I agree it is not really hygienic there. However, speaking about the taste, this restaurant grants its podium. Amongst all chinese restaurant I have ever tried, this is the BEST. One of my favorite dish is 'Ayam Goreng Kering' or in english 'Crispy Chicken'. It is so soft and juicy that you will fly. Hahaha. Additionally, they also comply the dish with some 'salty, pepper sauce' which taste amazing. Go give this Lie Djiong a chance to amaze you. Very well recommended!

Well-known chinese restaurant in Jogja, great unique flavor of food, decent portion with a quite reasonable price. Always consistantly deliver a great food and live to the expectation. My only concern is just the place is quite old looking restaurant, they could tweak it a bit here and there just to make it look better. Customer service always great and friendly.
