Minimum spendinf 1,5 mio IDR for private Room, great seafood, fresh crab, clam, shrimp and fish.
Friendly service, prompt response, good facilities (hand washing, toilet)
During heavy rain, be careful for water spillage on the floor, very slippery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant's ambiance was good, really nice place, the food itself is quite good but after eating it we were really really thirsty for a long time, it's usually when there's too much MSG in the food. You don't really need that much when the food already taste so good :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is quite big with cozy interior but the staff is unfriendly and service is super slow. Had to ask for menu for so long. A lot of food in the menu didn’t available yet.
I ordered 2 kind of dishes, the 1st came around 45 minutes after order with the drink then another food came around 60 minutes. The taste is not worth the wait especially the Siam Sauce White Snapper that overly sweet for me.
Hopefully they would fix those things in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are plenty of seafood restaurants around this area, and Layar turns out to be the best. The place is cozy compare to others, and the live seafood is available in stock. The cooking is great and delicious, some dishes taste a little bit too sweet for me, but with live seafood as main dishes, it did not matter at all. Price is also affordable. Other restaurants might be cheaper, but the cozy and spacious place offers better dining experience. Anyway, if you want to eat cheaper dish, they offer fresh seafood, meaning frozen seafood. It is also highly recommended to order this because we can eat special fish like Makassar Sukang fish. It is a fish that usually not available live.
