★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is small, and quite dark in the inside, quite dirty. The taste of the food is only ok. Many people smoking in the outside, it is very annoying. The price of the food is quite expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried kopi susu, it came with additional sugar though the coffee itself already sweet, too sweet for my taste. Are they trying to give me diabetes. Ordered lumpia goreng and what came out was more like otak-otak goreng. Probably my image of lumpia was not like what this restaurant has.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the often underrated kopitiam style coffee shop, Lau's managed to deliver quite a strong coffee and delicious roti panggang/ toast, on the cheap. their store at Setiabudi 1 is well lit, spacious, and efficient seating. for light grub to full meal such as kwetiaw, mee, or rice, everything is dependable.

I gave 3 stars for allowing ppl smoking inside the restaurant - in AC room - meanwhile it dont have open space. Bad air circulation.

I ordered nasi & soto betawi, not that good, soup is dull, no tomato and fried onion which you commonly find in soto betawi. It was only the soup and beef meat.
The signature black coffee is good. It think it's because coffee and snack is their expertise.
Service is good, nice place with "peranakan" ambiance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for Coffee and Roti Toast (especially Pangrot Kaya). I also like their Mie Ayam Keriting and Siomay. The coffee also good, like in other kopitiam (with milk or even tea). Good price also, but the store is not too large. Located inside Setibudi One building area.
