Lapangan ini dulunya adalah persawahan, dan pada tahun 2017 persawahan ini dirubah menjadi lapangan. Walaupun pembangunan lapangan ini belum sempurna, tetapi lapangan ini sudah digunakan untuk banyak kegiatan umum.
dan pada bulan agustus 2017 untuk pertama kalinya lapangan dipakai untuk Pasar Malam
