Located in the middle of a narrow market street, but honestly, this place is what you called a hidden gem. They serve a really nice Laksa & Mie Belitong. The place is really clean. Me and my friends got a chance to chat with the owners and they are very nice and super lovely. Would highly recommend this place to anyone~

Heads up: Throw out everything you know about Malaysian laksa because you will not find it here. Is it the same? No. Is it good? Hell fkn yea. The broth is absolutely divine and I would love it for every cold rainy winter day for the rest of my life. Super punchy and flavoursome. The star of the show. Cons: Mostly just noodles and not a lot of shredded chicken. Only half an egg. Kemangi were blackened in some bits. But I love the broth so much so I only took out one star lol. Went at 11 40 AM ish on a Sunday (peak market day yes) and got seated under 10 mins, but I was alone so maybe that's why it was so fast? Service was good, quick and chirpy. Quite intrigued about the mie Belitung so I might have to come back ??

Located in the heart of Jakarta Chinatown, Pantjoran. The owner has transformed their house into a small eatery place that offer a traditional chinese noodle restaurant. The speciality are laksa bogor and mie belitung. For me, i prefer the laksa bogor one rather than mie belitung. The laksa bogor use thin vermicelli, clear soup, sprout, with basil leaves. The taste is quite light and fresh due to the basil leaves put into the dish, fit for breakfast in chinese style. ?. On top of that, you see the owner (2 ladies) interact with their waiter just like a family, so caring and friendly. Typical traditional chinese family run the family business. For the price, it is also not that expensive a dish for 25k.

Yummy laksa, noodle and fried snack, but the oma is very forgetful. Make sure she has your order fine before moving on to other order, otherwise she'd only remember your last one :))

Definetely one of my favourite food joint for my 1st time in jakarta, i come here at 2 PM for their Mie Belitong and I come back the next day at 8 AM for their Laksa, their taste jibe with my medanese tongue :) for comparison, i think their Mie Belitong taste like Mie Rebus Medan and their Laksa taste like Soto Medan. I like the athmosphere here with so many rare old school display.

A small restaurant in small alley not far from Gloria. Famous for its Laksa Bogor, Laksa Ketupat & Mie Belitung. Yum! Portion not too big, but probably more like heavy snack than a big meal. Also serves some fried such as Cempedak (a similar kind of jack fruit), combro (snack made from cassave with filling inside) & other fried snack.

Was curious as this was said the best one in town. Surprisingly, the taste was not exactly what i have in mind. The gravy was looking milky with chicken broth smell, the dry ingredients with chunk of rice noodles, rice cake, chicken shreds, half boiled egg n bean sprouts are covered with shallots n basils on top. This was more similar to soto than a laksa.
