For those who miss Coffee and talua tea from West Sumatra I recommend Coffee here. The atmosphere is like the village shop in Sumatra, which is usually at the intersection. A thick atmosphere of intimacy is felt here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ceritanya, setelah diskusi dengan relasi di jalan Batas II, pas arah balik mau ke perumahan Batam pengin nyari makan siang di sekitar kalisari. Gak sengaja nemu Kopi Simpang, namanya unik karena lokasi nya Cafe ini memang tidak di simpang an. Menu otentiknya adalah Teh Talua, dimana dalam bahasa padang Talua adalah telur. Jadi teh Talua adalah kuning telur ayam kampung dicampur dengan gula dan teh. Silakan bayangkan sendiri rasanya, kalau penasaran langsung menuju lokasi.
The story, after a discussion with the relation on the Batas II road, was in the direction of going back to the Batam housing to find lunch around Kalisari. Not intentionally finding Simpang Coffee, its name is unique because the location of this Cafe is not at an intersection. The authentic menu is Talua Tea, where in the language Talua is an egg. So Talua tea is chicken egg yolk mixed with sugar and tea. Please imagine it yourself, if you are curious, go straight to the location.
