★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to see Mount Merapi with sunny and cool weather. It's better to come early around 6 in the morning, because at the end of the week there will be a lot of queues. The food prices are affordable, my favorite is crispy egg, fried jadah, and fried banana, can try the coffee too, it will warm up your morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love this place with simple traditional home menu. Traditional omelette was crunchy, banana fritter really lovely and the coffee was really nice. You need to queue during meal time and it is advisable that mind your time so other visitor can having their turn. Lovely and humble place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always busy all day. If you come here always prepare you should in queue for 15-30 minutes. Their banana fried is the best. Also 'sayur lodeh' and Ikan Asin. Parking fee for motorcycles is IDR2000. Be patient if you can't find the place for eat. Worth to try and ofc will be back all time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here bcs i wanna know how good kopi klothok is. It’s far from the city, aroud 45 minutes. It was really crowded too. I waited for about 30 minutes until i got my food. So far, the main food is so-so. But the banana fried is definitely the best!!! You should buy moreee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in kopi klotok. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of coffe and tea. Considering the quality, the price is a bit pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place to enjoy 'village vibe' in Yogyakarta. Many options to enjoy your food : inside the tradisional javanese joglo, outside next to rice field, beside the fish pond, on the vintage house terrace. Great food also, the 'sayur lodeh' is absolutely delicious and the 'pisang goreng' is legendary, really worth trying.
A bit minus : get ready for the long queue and get rained if you eat outdoor, mostly self-service.
I went here on the weekend and it was super crowded, and rained, but when I tasted the food, every hard work felt worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ interesting place. not actually a view of merapi at all and youre sitting on the ground on in crowded indoor area mostly but it’s a good place to start the day. food is a buffet sort of style, so not great for hygiene/Covid but no one seemed to mind. pisang goreng very good. coffee served in glasses with no handles so not sure how you’re supposed to drink a hot beverage that way. not an essential stop but not discouraged to visit either.
