Dumpling noodle quite good. You can taste the fresh shrimp inside the dumpling. Price wise us medium with black ice coffee priced atRp22k

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is historical coffee shop in Jakarta, near Kota Tua or Old City, but in small street so I never think to visit here before until my friend recommended me to come here. It still look authentic. The taste is enak banget, even for me who don't really like coffee. The price is like in cafe rather than in warung kopi but ok lah...we buy merk, quality and all memory. Hehe... The staffs and even the owner, probably, are friendly and helpful. They serve so well and fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary coffee shop located in the heart of Glodok.
It has been around since 1927 (way back before Indonesia declared its independence) just to give you the context.
Even the owner and some of the people running the place are elderly.
We came here in the morning, and already packed with people.
We ordered a noddle, and it was delicious, i think the authenticity that keeps people coming back.
And the milk-coffee was good too, although there's nothing really special about it to be honest.
Will be back again once the Covid situation gets under control.
Recommend for sure.

Vintage diner, located in china town Jakarta. I was ordered "Es Kopi Susu", their signature menu. I thought it would be special, but dissapointed. They served ice coffee in a plastic glass, i ordered with milk, but no milk taste and the coffee was very light. They charge 22.000 rupiah for a cup of ice coffee. I dont think it worth if only for an ice coffee, but let's consider as cost for a "quantum leap" to 1927 when they established their business. Compared to Morning Glory Coffee (Batam) & Starbright Coffee (Penang), which are legend coffee too, im quite dissapointed with Kopi Tak Kie.

It's not crowded when I visit, the place is vintage.
Contra:
It's inside traditional market, quite hard to find.
The coffee really light, just like they mixing with too much water.
Price for food or drink pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the legendary Coffee stall, located in old china town area, the ambience is still the same since 50 years ago, there are 2 options of Coffee, Coffee and milk or black Coffee, if you want your Coffee really black you have to order without sugar, because they add sugar on the Coffee. They provide noodle and also nasi campur n nasi tim, you also could order food outside their Coffee stall such as somay or sekba. Located literally inside a traditonal market, you have to walk to get here.
