★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kompleksnya sepi, nyaman walau berada tepat di belakang Jalan Malioboro. Strategis. Sayang, tinggal di sini harus siap menghadapi jalan macet atau jalan ditutup krn Ada acara tertentu di Malioboro (cukup sering terjadi).
The complex is quiet, comfortable even though it is right behind Malioboro Street. Strategic. Unfortunately, living here must be prepared for traffic jams or road closures because there are certain events in Malioboro (they happen quite often).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kompleks perumahan jadul yang berlokasi tepat di tengah kota Jogja, persisnya di sebelah barat kawasan Malioboro. Agak "tersembunyi", sehingga belum tentu yang orang Jogja asli mengetahuinya.
Suasana di kompleks ini adem dan teduh karena banyak pepohonan, rumah-rumahnya bergaya indis yang menambah suasana syahdu. Di tengah-tengah kompleks ada taman yang sekelilingnya berpagar dan kurang terawat.
An old school housing complex located right in the middle of Jogja city, to the west of the Malioboro area. It's a bit "hidden", so it's not necessarily the real Jogja people know about it.
The atmosphere in this complex is calm and shady because of the many trees, the houses are indic style which adds to the serene atmosphere. In the middle of the complex there is a garden surrounded by fences and poorly maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always curious about the origin or the story behind this residence. The houses here are supposedly hundred years old, very neat and colonial. They are all beautiful houses.

During revolution period (45-49), many prominent persons of the young Republic of Indonesia lived in this residence. Also, meetings were held with people who came and went.
