But unfortunately it's hard to take a photo of yourself with the Ketep Pass written on it if it's together with a lot of people there. There are binoculars rental, you can pay 5,000 rupiah but I don't understand how many hours it can take. If you go up again you can see a closer view of the mountain. There are street vendors selling food and vegetables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only great view is from the front, where the “ketep pass” sign is. On a bright, sunny day, you will be presented with a wonderful view of merapi mountain and it’s peak.
Unfortunately, small kiosks near the entrance pretty much blocked the view of the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great view! Amazing! Just a bit disappointed by the enter fee, personally I think it's a bit expensive compares to the other place. But overall the place is great, there are a lot of restrooms and it's clean. Don't forget to bring your jacket or coat here, or you may get cold
