β β β β β Kedai Nyonya Lie merupakan salah satu kedai yang baru buka awal Maret 2021. Lokasi kedai ini ada di Ruko Golf Island PIK. Konsep makanan yang mereka sajikan masakan rumahan dengan cita rasa khas Medan dan paling spesial yang masak hidangan ini adalah Nyonya Lie sebagai owner restoran disini.

Buat suasana di kafe ini nyaman banget. Space di kafe ini cukup luas dengan design yang simple. Tak perlu khawatir juga, mereka juga menyediakan stopkontak untuk mengisi daya gadget dan wifi. Sejujurnya saja wifi di ruko Golf Island ini sangat susah sekali untuk mendapatkan koneksi internet.

Menu yang aku coba:
1. Mie Jawa Seafood Spesial (Rp 45.000)
Hidangan menu ini dari segi rasa enak banget loh. Isian mie jawa ada udang, kacang, emping, dan jeruk sebagai penyegar. Tekstur mie disini kenyal, manis dari mie jawa juga pas, dan udang disini masih segar dan tingkat kematangan yang sempurna.

2. Kwetiau Goreng Seafood Spesial (Rp 45.000)
Hidangan menu ini sangat sesuai dengan konsep yang mereka sajikan dari awal. Mengingat ini makanan rumahan, tapi dari segi rasa enak loh. Lapchiong disini tidak bau, udang masih fresh, dan seasoning nya pas.

3. Hokkian Mie (Rp 48.000)
Isian untuk menu ini ada mie, kwetiau, ginjal B2, kaki B2, jamur hiyoko, bakso, dan daun wansui. Kaki B2 disini enak dan bumbu nya meresap ke daging tersebut. Jamur disini kenyal dan tidak alot. Bumbu khas hokkian disini berasa banget ada manis dan gurih yang pas.

4. Chicken Katsu (Rp 30.000)
Chicken katsu disini sebenarnya enak. Bagian dalam chicken disini juicy dan bagian permukaan luar juga renyah. Tetapi saya kurang nyaman banget ketika makan hidangan ini. Bagian skin chicken nya pahit karena masaknya terlalu lama alias gosong. Mashed potato disini unik dari segi rasa. Asem nya ini dari mustard sauce seperti nya.

5. Kietna Kiamboi (Rp 30.000)
Minuman ini juga tak kalah enaknya gais. Ada perpaduan manis dan asem dari kietna maupun kiamboi.

Kedai Nyonya Lie is one of the new shops that opened in early March 2021. The location of this shop is in Ruko Golf Island PIK. The food concept they serve home cooking with typical Medan flavors and the most special one who cooks this dish is Mrs. Lie as the restaurant owner here.

Make the atmosphere in this cafe really comfortable. The space in this cafe is quite large with a simple design. No need to worry, they also provide power outlets to charge gadgets and wifi. To be honest, the wifi in this Golf Island shophouse is very difficult to get an internet connection.

The menu I tried:
1. Special Seafood Javanese Noodles (IDR 45,000)
In terms of taste, this menu dish is really good. The Javanese noodle filling includes shrimp, peanuts, chips, and oranges as a refresher. The texture of the noodles here is chewy, the sweetness of the Javanese noodles is also just right, and the prawns here are still fresh and at the perfect level of maturity.

2. Special Seafood Fried Kway Teow (IDR 45,000)
This menu dish fits perfectly with the concept they presented from the start. Considering this is home food, but in terms of taste, it's delicious. The lapchiong here doesn't smell bad, the shrimp is still fresh, and the seasoning is just right.

3. Hokkien Noodles (IDR 48,000)
The stuffing for this menu includes noodles, rice noodles, kidney B2, leg B2, hiyoko mushrooms, meatballs, and wansui leaves. Leg B2 here is delicious and the spices soak into the meat. The mushrooms here are chewy and not tough. The typical hokkian spices here have the right sweet and savory taste.

4. Chicken Katsu (Rp.30,000)
The chicken katsu here is actually delicious. The inside of the chicken here is juicy and the outer surface is also crunchy. But I am not very comfortable when eating this dish. The skin of the chicken is bitter because it cooks too long, aka it's burnt. The mashed potato here is unique in terms of taste. The tamarind comes from a mustard sauce like it.

5. Kietna Kiamboi (IDR 30,000)
This drink is equally delicious. There is a sweet and sour mixture of kietna and kiamboi.

β β β β β I normally not a medan food fans but mrs lie restaurant change my taste. I'm now officially love medan food. The menu i tried is the pig leg, i forgot the name is it pek cam ke or cukiok, serve in a hot pot and taste spicy, it's really tasteful, excellent seasoning with tender pork meat. Sorry for my initial underestimate.
