Semakin malam, makin ramai, tergantung pelanggan yg dtg. Biasanya buka habis maghrib, setelah dipindah tempatnya jadi buka pagi.

SEJARAH:
Kenapa dinamai 28? Karena diambil dari no. rumah dinas (rumdis) alm. Kakek sy. Lokasinya (cafe didirikan) di Jl. Dr. Muwardi G. 28, sekaligus merangkap rumah.
Karena status tempatnya adl rumdis dan beliau adl. Purn. TNI AD, maka setelah meninggal, kedainya dipindah scr bertahap.
PINDAHNYA KEDAI KOPI 28
Dua bulan stlh ia meninggal, kira2 akhir Mei, kedai kopi 28 terakhir beroperasi di Ngeblok.*
Per juni, kedai dipindah di sekitaran Jl. Osamaliki.
Bisa anda cari di sana yg namanya "Kedai Kopi Dua Delapan 28"

Kenapa dinamai Ngeblok? Karena blok2 di sekitaran sana terdiri atas rumdis² anggota TNI AD yg aktif maupun purnawirawan, alias "komplek tentara"
Ngeblok juga disebut "Gg. Tangsi Bambu" krn terdiri banyak pohon bambu disekitar gangnya.
Sekedar pengetahuan saja.
Mohon maaf kalau ulasannya panjang sekali, mengingat hal ini diuraikan berdasarkan aspek historisnya aja.

Ngeblok also called "Gg. Tangsi Bamboo" krn comprises many bamboo trees around the gang.
